FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are the market date/time details for the season?
The Durango Art Market will begin on Sunday, July 4 and extend until Sunday, September 5. The market will be held every Sunday at 11th Street Station (1101 Main Avenue, Durango CO 81301) from 10am-2pm.
I am an artist that would like to have a vendor booth. How do I apply?
To apply for a vendor booth, please scroll up to fill out the application form. Please be prepared for the Art Market coordinator to contact you and further solidify details.
What commitment(s) do I have to make to have a vendor booth?
Vendors are not beholden to commit to any amount of markets; they are welcome to propose vending at as many or as little as they like this summer.
If you sign up for a vendor booth and cannot be present on the date you were scheduled for, you will not be reimbursed for your fee. Should you need to forgo setting up your vendor booth for the day, the Art Market coordinator would prefer to be notified of cancellations within 48 hours so they can include a waitlisted vendor in your place. More information on the cancellation policy can be found in your vendor waiver upon completing the application.
Once my vendor application is accepted, what is the process for setting up a booth?
You can arrive on the premises at 9am to set up your vendor booth and coordinate with Alyssia Alex (Art Market coordinator). You may unload vehicles in front of 11th Street Station for 5 minutes, then move your vehicle to an alternative parking space for the duration of your event. Vendors are expected to pack up at 2pm and ensure the premises is left the way you found it. Volunteers may be able to help you with day-of set up, but you are expected to be self-sufficient and set up your booth on your own accord.
What are my liabilities with having a vendor booth?
Participating vendors must obtain their own insurance for their business and bear full responsibility for any liabilities to their artwork. Furthermore, vendors must have a valid business license.
What are the dimensions of the vendor booths?

The Art Market will have three vending options available this summer:

1) A full 10×10′ space for $35/market with a tent/table that you must provide

2) A shared 10×10′ space with one other vendor for $20/market with a table you provide; the Art Market coordinator will help coordinate who can provide a tent if applicable

3) A shared common space under a large covered area with a table you provide for $20/market

You will be able to specify your request for placement in the application below.

Who can I contact if I have any questions?
