MATT CLARK

Matt Clark is an artist originally from the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas in Placerville, California.
With a background in special education, Matt is a self-taught creative who moved to Durango for the mountains, the adventure, and the endless inspiration. When he’s not making art or teaching, you’ll find him outdoors, exploring, or soaking up time with his wife and kids.
His work is fueled by a love for history, storytelling, and the raw beauty of nature—always looking for the unexpected threads that connect the past to the present.
