Bouquets for Days
About the Exhibition
Opening Reception | March 31, 2023 5-8pm
With spring coming into bloom, Bouquets for Days captures a collection of the warmth and natural beauty of the season’s most iconic plant, flowers. With their vibrant colors, various shapes and sizes, and wonderful fragrances, flowers symbolize the beautiful process of growth and rebirth that occurs in the Spring. This is the season of new beginnings, and flowers will be our vessel.
From paintings to pottery and sculpture to sewn art, artists from all branches of life showed how they appreciate the beauty of spring through a variety of different mediums. All works chosen have one thing in common, the artists utilized flowers as a focal point of their piece. Spring brings a unique array of flowers, and each represents something special for everyone. From irises that grow in gardens to cactus blooms, artists capture the flowers that are close to their hearts.
Bouquets for Days aims to remind us all to stop and smell the roses and take a moment to appreciate the season of spring and the magnificent flowers it brings.
